Description

You can think of the Kiseki Yuniba-su (Japanese for "Marvel Universe"), also called Edo Period Marvel, as an amalgam of Neil Gaiman's Marvel 1602 and the Marvel Mangaverse, with hints of the Japanese stories from Marvel Fairy Tales.

Here is the Edo Period version of Japan's first hero team, Big Hero Six, called the Musha Roku (The Six Warriors).

Left to Right:
Baymax, Hiro Takachiho, Silver Samurai, Sun's Fire, Hani-Remon, Gogo Tomako

Silver Samurai:
Real Name: Kenichiro Harada
Biography: Kenichiro Harada is the son of samurai Shinobu Yamashita and noblewoman Shinju Harada, conceived before Shinobu participated in the Battle of Sekigahara and sealed in a magic coffin for 40 years. Inspired by the tales of his father’s bravery and valor woven by his mother, Kenichiro trained night and day to become the shogunate’s greatest samurai warrior. When T.A.T.E. first formed, they enlisted Kenichiro to serve and made him into the Silver Samurai, the newest symbol of Japanese military supremacy. He also started forming the Musha Roku, “The Six Warriors”, drawing in the most talented heroes Japan has to offer.
When OROCHI attacked the city of Edo (the future Tokyo), the Musha Roku were overpowered by their numbers and were defeated; that’s when Kenichiro’s father, fully revived and wielding the unbreakable mirror “Yata No kagami,” stepped in and drove the invaders away. The Musha Roku disbanded afterwards.
Kenichiro’s young son, Yoshi Harada, later informally joined his grandfather’s new hero team, the Regalia.
Powers: Master swordsman who wields a katana made from “the strongest metal in Japan” (adamantium), capable of slicing through anything. His armor is made from titanium, the second strongest metal. He also uses other traditional samurai weapons, though not made from the same metal as his sword.

Sun’s Fire:
Counterpart of: Sunfire
Real Name: Shiro Harada
Biography: Shiro Harada is the son of Shingen Harada (the twin brother of Shinju Harada) and older cousin of Kenichiro Harada. Growing up in a privileged family, Shiro started developing the power to generate flames from his flesh; fearful that the family would be eternally shamed for bearing an abnormal child, Shingen claimed that his son's the avatar of Amateratsu-Okami, Japanese Goddess of the Sun. Shiro was praised even greater and the family became more affluent, but none of this made Shiro truly happy. He later joined his cousin’s hero team, The Musha Roku, believing that fighting villains would be the key to his happiness, but to no avail. When Musha Roku disbanded, he left Japan for good to travel the world. The people of Edo built Shiro the tallest pagoda in the city to honor him, which the Musha Roku used as their base of operations; after they dissolved, the people gave it to Susanoo, God of the Sea and Storms, and his team, the Regalia, used it for their headquarters.
Powers: The ability to generate intense amounts of flame from his skin and not be burned by it. He can fly, shoot fireballs at enemies, and survive without oxygen for up to 2 hours.

Honey Lemon:
Real Name: Aiko Miyazaki
Biography: Aiko Miyazaki was trained in the arts of espionage by T.A.T.E.’s greatest spy, a completely enigmatic person known only as “Kuro Kafu.” She later joined the Musha Roku as “Honey Lemon.” She continues to work for T.A.T.E.’s espionage division long after Musha Roku’s disbandment.
Powers: An expert spy and assassin. Carries several tools and weapons (foldable and disguised) in her inconspicuous purse; the purse is also lined with chain-mail, so it can be used defensively.

Hiro Takachiho:
Biography: Hiro Takachiho is a thirteen-year-old by with a near-incalculably high intelligence, learning from the best teachers and scholars across the islands, including weapons-manufacturing tycoon Taichi Sakamoto, who later became the hero Armored Man. T.A.T.E. wanted to recruit Hiro into the Musha Roku Initiative, but he declined; he later joined to help them rescue his mother from the Everwraith, a demon created from the souls of those slain during the Feudal Period of Japan’s history. After the Musha Ruko disbanded, Hiro returned to his studies.
Powers: A scientific, mathematic, and mechanical prodigy.

Baymax:
Real Name: Utsumi Kyokudo
Biography: Utsumi Kyokudo lost his parents when he was a child to a monster rampage, and he had since dedicated his life to hunting monsters. As an adult he had been friends with Suriko Takachiho, and been a surrogate father figure to her son, Hiro. He joined the Musha Ruko to protect the genius child. After the Musha Roku’s disbandment, he returned to his life-long mission, one time helping the Suteki Four fight a horde of shapeshifting takunis.
Powers: Superhuman strength/durability/stamina/senses/reflexes that come from years of training; encyclopedic knowledge of Japan’s many monster species; various weapons made from the bones, venom, and other body parts of slain monsters.

Gogo Tomako:
Real Name: Leiko Tanaka
Biography: Leiko Tanaka, better known by her stage name “Gogo Tomako”, was a member of the Konwaku Circus, a Japanese traveling circus where the ringmaster, Minoru Watanabe, would hypnotize the audience and the performers would rob them. When the Konwaku Circus was taken down by the rogue ninja Gamushara, Gogo was incarcerated until she was offered a pardon in exchange for serving for 1 year in the Musha Roku Initiative. When the Musha Roku disbanded, Gogo was sent back to prison since wasn’t on the team for the full year. Enraged, she broke out of prison and now seeks revenge against Shinobu Yamashita, aka Captain Japan, who she believed was responsible for her reincarceration; for weeks she put herself through intense physical, mental, and martial arts training, in the end taking on a new identity: Beitroc!
Powers: A contortionist who can bend her body into shapes beyond ordinary anatomic possibilities; she can wrap herself around enemies like a snake, roll into a ball (for Baymax to throw at targets), and fit into small spaces. Drinks a special fruit juice to keep herself limber. Also wore tough, segmented armor that flexes along with her.
