Middle Row, L-R:

Emil Erskine:
Amalgamation Of: Abraham Erskine + Emil Hamilton
Biography: Professor Emil Erskine was a scientist working for Nazi-controlled Germany in the 1930s-40s, but faked his death and defected to America when he learned of leader Adolf Hitler's plans of mass genocide within their territories. Erskine and a group of American scientists, working for the govt. discovered a pod that contained the corpse of an infant, humanoid alien. They discovered the genetics of the alien species is greatly altered when exposed to the light of Earth's sun, resulting in enhanced physical qualities. Erskine devised a serum, based on the alien DNA, that would allow a human subject to absorb sunlight and gain superhuman abilities from it, for the purpose of creating American super-soldiers capable of defeating the Nazis' forces. After several failures, they perfected the process and volunteer Clark Rogers became the Super-Soldier. Unfortunately, the Professor was assassinated soon after by Nazi saboteurs, and since he alone knew the secret of replicating the formula, the Americans couldn't create more super-soldiers. The Nazis still lost WWII, with the help of Super-Soldier and other meta-talented beings called the All-Star Invaders (Invaders + All-Star Squadron), but Clark Rogers was believed to have been killed when trying to capture the Nazi super-agent called the Green Skull (Red Skull + Lex Luthor). In modern times, when the Super-Soldier was revived from cryogenic suspension, the terrorist organization HUNDRA (HYDRA + The 100) discovered that Erskine's last wish was to be cryogenically preserved until the Americans had the technology to extract the formula for the serum from his brain; HUNDRA stole his frozen head and were trying to extract his memories, including Super-Soldier's true identity, before Rogers, and his new hero team, the Justice Avengers (Avengers + Justice League), reclaimed his remains. In an alternate future, HUNDRA brought Emil back to life (or some semblance of it) and not only gained the formula from him, they also convinced him that because of his experiments, the sun is in danger of collapsing and killing all life that it sustains. The only solution is to kill all those on Earth infused with the serum, including Kara Barnes, who became the new Super-Soldier after the assassination of her cousin Clark. Emil agreed and had his brain implanted into that of a genetically-engineered, super-powered young man claiming to be Erskine's great-grandson; he was then implanted into a government-run training facility for young superheroes, taking the codename Relic (KIA + Ruin).
Powers: Superhuman intellect; his alternate-reality counterpart, Relic, is still intelligent, but also superhumanly strong/fast/agile/durable/tireless. Relic also stole the weapon called the Omegagon (Tactigon + Omegadrone) from young heroine Violet Jarras (Violet “Armory” Lightner + Jarras Minion), allwoing him to create any weapon or tool he desired.

Soldiergirl:
Amalgamation Of: James “Bucky” Barnes + Supergirl
Real Name: Kara Barnes
Alias: Death Soldier (Winter Soldier + Apokoliptic Supergirl) [Brainwashed by Deathseid (Thanos + Darkseid)]
Biography: Born in the 1920s, Kara Barnes is the younger cousin of Clark Rogers, who became the American superhero known as Super-Soldier. When Clark was presumed dead at the end of World War II, the American Government tried to recreate the Super-Soldier Serum that gave Clark his powers, and Kara (being a close genetic relative) was one of the test subjects. The process had an ill effect on Kara, as did the other subjects, so she was put in suspended animation. The scientists later gave up on recreating the Serum, so they closed the labs and placed the cryogenics pods in a storage facility in Gothton, MS (Boston + Gotham City). In the 2000s era, an earthquake happened in Gothton, which killed the other frozen subjects, but awakened Kara. Kara wandered aimlessly through this strange world, until her stabilized powers attracted crimelords who wanted to use her to control the city. The tech-based hero Iron Bat (Iron Man + Batman) saved her from being controlled by Oswald Hammer (Justin Hammer + The Penguin) and soon enough reunited her with her cousin Clark, who was also frozen. After becoming used to the future and her new powers, Kara Barnes decided to join her cousin in the superhero community as “Soldiergirl”. As a member of the Justice Avengers, Soldiergirl would go on various adventures, from being brainwashed by the villain Deathseid to meeting her other-worldly counterpart Power Soldier.
Powers: Superhuman strength/speed/stamina/agility/reflexes/senses/aim (though less than that of Super-Soldier). Absorption of yellow solar energy and conversion of it into her powers. Laser vision. X-Ray vision. Freezing breath. Flight. Considerable martial arts training and athleticism.

Crymo the Stardog:
Amalgamation Of: Cosmo the Spacedog + Krypto the Superdog
Real Name: Unknown
Biography: Back in the 1960s, the scientists for the United States of Socialist Republics experimented with space travel. Before the famed Russian cosmonaut dog Laika, there was another dog they sent into space, in a cryogenic preservation capsule, to test suspended animation for interplanetary travel and colonization. The ship that carried the male dog was struck by a wave of energy that passed by Earth, sending it off course and it diappeared! The test was deemed a failure and the Russians erased evidence of it's experiment. The wave of energy was from the destruction of the planet Halaton (Hala + Krypton), which had traveled for 20 years; this energy was infused with the amalgamated genetic essence of the Kreetonians (Kree + Kryptonians), the dominant species of Halaton. The frozen dog was infused with the genes passed on by the energy. 40 years later, the Super-Soldier was returning from a mission in space when he came across the inoperable shuttle. Inside he found a dog frozen inside a capsule labeled “Cryogenic Metaterra Operation Tube”, except the label had faded over time so the only letters he could read were C.R.Y.M.O. He took the dog back to Earth and discovered he could absorb yellow sunlight and convert it into superpowers, much like the Kreetonians, whose DNA make up the serum that gave Super-Soldier his powers. After staying in the hero's Fortress of Liberty, Crymo was given a specially-developed suit that allowed him to control his powers, and he became a superhero in his own right: The Stardog!
In his most important adventure, Crymo helped the heroes of the universe defeat an evil superbeing that took over the Knoworld (Knowhere + Legionworld), the apex of all knowledge in existence! The villain's power over the Knoworld was no match for Crymo's innocent nature, allowing the heroes to bypass the villain's power and defeat him. When he passed away, Crymo was buried in the Knoworld in honor of him and his greatest mission; the Knoworld, thousands of years later, became the HQ of the heroic Legion of the Galaxy (Guardians of the Galaxy + Legion of Super-Heroes).
Powers: Abilities of an average dog; telekinesis; superhuman strength/speed/stamina/agility/reflexes/senses/aim (though less than that of Super-Soldier); absorption of yellow solar energy and conversion of it into his powers; laser vision; x-ray vision; flight; use of a suit that allows him to control his powers and survive in space.

Maggie Carter:
Amalgamation Of: Sharon Carter + Maggie Sawyer
Real Name: Captain Margret Carter
Biography: Maggie Carter's great aunt was an agent of the Office of Secret Intelligence, a WWII-era American defense agency that worked with Super-Soldier as he fought the Nazis. As an adult, Maggie, inspired by the stories of the Super-Soldier, joined the New Metropolis Police Department and rose through the ranks with her partner, Dan Ferrari (Connie Ferrari + Dan Turpin). Dan later became a lawyer and Maggie became captain of the NMPD Special Crimes Unit, a team specialized in taking down metapowered criminals when heroes like the revived Super-Soldier aren't available. Maggie was secretly commissioned by Jacob Furock (Col. Nick Fury + Sgt. Frank Rock), director of Task Force S (SHIELD + Task Force X) to keep tabs on Super-Soldier for them. Maggie's partner after Dan, Eddie Eaton, was later exposed to an alien parasite that mutated him and gave him power; Eddie left the force and became a hero called Loose Nail (Nails + Loose Cannon). Maggie used to be married until she revealed herself to be bisexual and her husband left because of it. In an alternate reality, Maggie was brainwashed by Faustrange (Dr. Faustus + Hugo Strange) into assassinating Super-Soldier; she surrendered herself to Task Force S and her niece Jamie later became Soldiergirl II (American Dream + Jamie Sawyer), sidekick to the previous Soldiergirl, Kara Barnes, who became the new Super-Soldier.
Powers: Above-average strength/stamina/reflexes/speed; skills with weapons and unarmed combat; excellent driver, pilot, and investigator.

Steel Falcon:
Amalgamation Of: Falcon + Steel
Real Name: Samuel Nathan Irons
Alias: Abraham Johnson
Biography: Sam Irons is a child prodigy, but just as he was about to graduate from high school when his single mother was killed by a mugger. Angry at the world, Sam dropped out and joined a gang, but he never lost his affinity for technology. When his gang was busted for gun-running, Sam was arrested and his blueprints were confiscated by police. The blueprints attracted businessman Lex Schmidt Jr. who paid for Sam’s release and gave him a job at his R&D firm, Lexcorp. Some time after the reemergence of Super-Soldier in the modern world, he saved Sam’s life in a construction accident. Waking from unconsciousness, he saw Super-Soldier and a falcon standing over him, and he became inspired to become a hero. Adopting the falcon (as both a persona and an actual falcon as a pet, naming him Redwing), Sam started work on a suit of powered armor and other weapons. When Mr. Schmidt found his employee’s “off-hours activities”, he sent guards to get rid of Sam and steal the armor. Sam defended himself with his technology, and Redwing fought alongside him. Super-Soldier arrived in the building to see what the commotion was about, seeing Lex use an electric shock to disable the suit. This was when Sam learned what Clark already knew: that Lex Schmidt Jr. was the super villain called the Green Skull. After escaping the Green Skull’s lair, Sam became Super-Soldier’s new ally, the Steel Falcon. Sam’s niece Natasha Wilson (Jim Wilson + Natasha Irons) later died of AIDS, but she downloaded her mind into a robot body, becoming the second Steel Falcon.
Powers: Sam Irons is a brilliant inventor. His armor grants him: superhuman strength/durability/endurance, flight, projectile blades, various scanners and wireless connections, and a sonic emitter that allows him to manipulate birds. His mechanical sledgehammer can extend up to 10 feet, fire electric blasts, and has jet boosters and a tracking system so it can return to him when thrown.

Middle Row, Left to Right:

Power Soldier:
Amalgamation Of: Nomad + Power Girl
Real Name: Rebecca Starr
Alias: Rikki
Biography: A mysterious young woman washed up on the shores of an uncharted island and the old man who lived on the island nursed the woman back to health. The woman was stricken with amnesia and can only remember the name “Rikki”, which she assumed was her own name. When it became clear that she had superhuman powers, her caretaker revealed himself to be the Atlantean sorcerer Quarion. Quarion helped Rikki control her new-found strength and pointed her in the direction of his contemporary, the Sorcerer Supreme Dr. Strangefate. At the Sanctum of Fate, Strangefate and the other members of the Defending Society helped Rikki adjust to her new surroundings and, after witnessing her strength and skills, invited her to join the team. Rikki joined them, and designed a costume and chose the name Power Soldier, after her similarity to the heroine Soldiergirl. After many months with the Defending Society, the major battle with the monstrous Imperislaught claimed the lives of the majority of the Justice Avengers and other heroes. When the threat of the Revenge Syndicate reached its peak, the revived heroes appeared in a golden portal to quell the threat. Joining them was a new team of heroes, the Infinite Allies, who are heroes from the planet the killed heroes were restored on. After seeing the Infinite Allies in action, Rikki’s memories came flooding back! Rebecca “Rikki” Starr is the granddaughter of Kara Barnes, the cousin of Clark “Super-Soldier” Rogers; Rikki inherited her powers from her grandmom, who served as Soldiergirl. The world they knew turned out to be a lie, a creation called Second Earth created by the planet’s unknown ruler, the Evolutionary Triumph. The Infinite Allies, whom Power Solider was a part of, found out about this and tried to free their world from the ET, but he had the JA’s Second Earth version, the Avenging League, defeat the young heroes with mind control. Rikki tried to reach the First Earth with a golden portal she created, but as she entered, the Second Earth Martian Vision used his telepathy to give her amnesia. When the revived heroes ended up on Second Earth, they were able to help the Infinite Allies defeat ET and free the planet. Power Soldier returned to Second Earth with the Infinite Allies, and would come back periodically through the golden portal to help the Defending Society and other heroes.
Powers: Superhuman strength/speed/stamina/agility/reflexes/senses/aim. Absorption of yellow solar energy and conversion of it into her powers. Laser vision. X-Ray vision. Enhanced lung capacity. Freezing breath. Flight.

B-Man:
Amalgamation Of: D-Man + Bibbo Bibbowski
Real Name: Dennis Bibbowski
Biography: Born in Nebraska, Dennis Bibbowski was formerly an amateur boxer who became a longshoreman when he moved to New Metropolis. Becoming a very big fan of the heroic Super-Soldier, Dennis was compelled to get back into the ring, but he was well past his physical prime. A villain named Everypower (Power Broker + Everyman) tempted Dennis into buying a supply of superpower-inducing drugs from him and Dennis joined the Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation, an underground combat sport league for metahumans, after taking on the code name Blaster-Man (shortened commonly to B-Man). Before a big match, Everypower gave B-Man a glove with a hidden syringe full of poison and told him to kill his opponent (making it look like a sports-related accident). B-Man refused and went on to beat his opponent normally; Everypower then had his goons steal every last bit of money, and the power drugs, from Dennis, leaving him homeless and suffering through withdrawal. Super-Soldier helped Dennis get back on his feet and B-Man helped Super-Soldier take down Everypower. No longer dependent on the drugs, Dennis was able to get his old job back and set up a bar owned and operated by him, which he also uses as a homeless shelter.

Maxiton rejected her family's tradition of arranged marriage and traveled the universe with her friends, leaving behind her abusive betrothed Snatraa (Snapdragon + Ultraa). Traveling the galaxy, they come across Earth, where Maxiton is smitten with the hero Super-Soldier. She offers him a chance to be her husband, but he declines. Heartbroken, she orders her friends Kozu (Komo + Sazu), the brother of Snatraa, and Sk'aad (Skein + B'aad) to help her destroy New Metropolis, only to stop when Super-Soldier agrees to marry her. The hero and his allies end their rampage, but while Kozu and Sk'aad were sent to a prison for meta-talented threats, Maxiton seemingly died. She later turned up with amnesia, wandering around the city in a daze. She attacked a mentally ill man (who later became the evil Megaskel [Crossbones + Atomic Skull]) for forcing himself on her, and he learned of her super powers. The terrorist organization known as the Ophidian Sigil (Serpent Society + Cobra Cult) took notice and brainwashed her into becoming one of their agents. She became Maxine Leighton, aka Black Mamba. On her latest mission for the Sigil, she did battle against the Justice Avengers and Super-Soldier recognized her as Maxiton. He was able to bring back her memories and he helped them defeat the Ophidian Sigil. Now an ally of Super-Soldier, Maxiton gained his assistance in defeating Snatraa, who formed a rebellion against the royal family of their planet after she rejected him.
Powers: Superhuman strength/speed/durability/stamina/agility/reflexes; telekinesis; combat skills; as Black Mamba, Maxiton utilized armor and bladed diamond-shaped projectile weapons that can explode, inject poison, or electro-shock.

Gangbattler:
Amalgamation Of: Battlestar + Gangbuster
Real Name: Lemar Delgado
Biography: Half Latino and half African-American, Lemar Delgado was a soldier who returned to New Metropolis after his years of service to become a school teacher. When the Green Skull started enlisting juvenile delinquents into his ranks of armed thugs, Lemar recognized this threat and tapped into his finances and military training to combat this threat; inspired by the heroic Super-Soldier, nemesis of the Green Skull, Lemar designed a costume and bullet-proof shield, among other weapons, and became the Gangbattler. Fighting alongside the Super-Soldier, Gangbattler helped end the Green kull's latest scheme, but Lemar was left paralyzed by gunfire while the villain escaped. The villain Everypower tempted Lemar into buying drugs that would stave off paralysis, and grant him extra power, but Super-Soldier's ally B-Man convinced Lemar not to, because Everyman will make you do anything (no matter how low) if you to keep the drugs coming. Lemar entered therapy and was back as the Gangbattler before you knew it. The Extranatural Logistics Headquarters (ELH [CSA + DEO]) secretly commissioned Lemar to keep tabs on Super-Soldier and his escapades. Recently, Lemar became a security operative for RoxTAR Labs, and soon after that, the scientists accidentally opened a portal to an alternate Earth infected by a zombie plague; the zombified Soldiergirl tried to eat Lemar, but she was killed by that universe's sacrifice (Jack of Hearts + Aztek), who survived that universe's Armangeddon crisis (Doomsday Man + Mageddon) and avoided becoming a zombie himself.
Powers: Above-average physical prowess; combat and urban traversal skills; use of a bullet-proof shield, dual escrima staves, nunchaku, and other non-lethal weapon hidden in his armor.

CAPE:
Amalgamation Of: CAP + Eradicator
Real Name: Conserve and Persecute Evil
Biography: Hundreds of thousands of years ago, on the planet Halaton, a Kreetonian scientist attempted to perfect a hivemind of artificially intelligent android guardians that would patrol the planet and enforce it's laws. Called Conserve and Persecute Evil, the hivemind AI went rogue and attempted to subjugate the planet to more efficiently enforce the laws of Halaton. The scientist managed to upload the AI's failsafe shutdown, and cast it into space. 200,000 years of isolation in the void of space later, the final remaining piece of CAPE's technology awoke the dormant AI. It collided with the frozen remains of the villain Evolutionary Triumph (High Evolutionary + Triumph) and they descended to the surface of another planet. The ET was resurrected by CAPE and they fused together. CAPE gave the ET the power to return to Second Earth, an Earth duplicate created and formerly ruled by ET, for the intention of taking it over once again. When they arrive, however, CAPE overrode the Triumph's mind and started terraforming Second Earth into a new Halaton. The heroes of Second Earth were powerless against the reproduced CAPE androids, but the Justice Avengers and the Justice Four (Fantastic Four + Justice League reserves) arrived in time to dismantle them. The central intellect of CAPE was removed from the ET, ending the threat. The Evolutionary Triumph was imprisoned on Second Earth for his crimes and the AI core of CAPE was confiscated by Super-Soldier. The CAPE intelligence reactivated, but this time swore its loyalty to Super-Soldier, recognizing the genetic base of the serum he used to gain his powers belonging to the descendant of the Kreetonian scientist who created it. When the Super-Soldier died at the hands of the evil Doompocalypse (Apocalypse + Doomsday), CAPE, in it's new android form, brought his corpse back to the Fortress of Liberty and placed him in a solar-radiation pod; while the hero recovered, Eradicator incorporated his DNA into his techno-biological form to take on his powers, helping to protect the world in his absence.
Powers: Beyond-average intelligence; techno-biological body storing dozens of hidden tools and weapons; superhuman strength/speed/agility/stamina/durability/reflexes; combat skills; flight; energy projection; force field; absorption of yellow solar energy for strength increasing and health regeneration; size manipulation.
