New Amalgam Comics: Secret Wars of Infinite Earths

The Secret Wars of Infinite Earths (Secret Wars + Crisis of Infinite Earths):
Beyondus (Beyonder + Dominus) was originally a priest from a far-flung dimension, but, many eons ago, he betrayed his people and suffered punishment for it in the form of having his being shattered and scattered across the reaches of the Parallel Zone (Negative Zone + Phantom Zone). An ancient Kreetonian (Kree + Kryptonian) criminal rebuilt him as the Beyondus, but he betrayed his “new master” and escaped into the further reaches of the Zone. For eons, Beyondus observed our universe, through a wormhole, and found that the planet Earth was brimming with meta-talented beings, with the potential to match his power. He then began to study this and other Earths, ones that splintered from the original timeline.
Beyondus pierced the veil of reality to bring the heroes of the various Earths he studied to an unpopulated planet. The teams of heroes were forced to battle each other to “prove” to Beyondus which Earth is the strongest. This continued until the evil Vandal Doom (Doctor Doom + Vandal Savage), using his team of villains from Universe Amalgam-1, to enter the Beyondus' citadel and claim his cosmic power. The multiversal heroes banded together to defeat Vandal Doom and his minions. The Beyondus reclaimed his powers and returned the heroes, and the bested villains, to their respective home worlds (with no memory of the Secret Wars of Infinite Earths in the minds of non-Amalgam-1 characters), but he now has more focused interest in Amalgam-1 due to Vandal Doom's actions...
