New Amalgam Comics: Wildforce

The Wildforce (Ultraforce + WildCATS), a team of “Gen-Ultras” (Ultras + Gen-Actives), hail from universe Amalgam-9 (Malibu + Wildstorm & Milestone). They have fought alongside and against other hero teams such as Generation Strange (Strangers + Gen13) and the StreetRats (Agents of Aladdin + Heroes).

Rex Marlowe:
Amalgamation of: Rex Mundi + Jacob “Lord Emp” Marlowe
Real Name: Unknown
Biography: Though he appears human, dwarven in size, Rex Marlowe is actually an immortal alien and lord of an endangered alien race called the Kherumundi (Mundi + Kherubim). He and many of his kind were left stranded on Earth after a fierce space battle with their enemies, the Daemon People (Daemonites + Fire People). The lord took on the human identity of Rex Marlowe, wealthy billionaire and businessman. Realizing the Daemon People's threat against Earth, he and his new associate Mary Kitaen, aka Mindscape, formed a team of Gen-Ultras to combat them, calling them the Wildforce.
Powers: Immortality, high intelligence, access to various high-caliber technologies, psychic powers, minimal shapechanging.

Mindscape:
Amalgamation of: Contrary + Voodoo
Real Name: Mary Kitaen
Biography: Mary Kitaen is a half-human/half-Kherumundi hybrid. She was originally a nurse until she was forced by her superior to use technology acquired by Daemon People on Earth to forcibly convert humans into cyborgs. She had to fall off the grid and Mary, under an assumed name, worked as an exotic dancer until she was discovered by Rex Marlowe. Revealing her unique powers to him, Rex offered her a chance to make things right for the victims of the doctor she escaped, and together they formed a hero team called the Wildforce. Under a second alias, Mary became headmaster of a school for young Gen-Ultras that Rex founded; as Mindscape, Mary became field leader of the Wildforce.
Powers: Telepathic powers (pleasure/pain induction, possession detection, mind reading, illusions, psychic assaults, ect.); shape-changing into a reptilian monster form (enhanced physical ability, claws and fangs); martial arts.

Gamble:
Amalgamation of: Ghoul + Grifter
Real Name: Cole Martin
Biography: Cole Martin was abused by his step-father after his biological father died. Cole, as an adult, was an engineering student until he was afflicted with an experimental bio-weapon called the Theta Virus. Becoming something of a zombie, but still retaining his mental faculties, Cole was contacted by the government, who promised to cure his affliction. Cole harnessed his new abilities that came with the virus and joined a metahuman strike force working for the military, but Cole abandoned them when it became clear the gov't can't cure him of the Theta Virus. He later met the alien queen Tozot and joined her independent metahuman team, the Wildforce. Gamble has also come into conflict with Gen-Ultra vigilante Nightfire (Firearm + Midnighter) and his partner Ellen Pulaski (Ellen + Andrew “Apollo” Pulaski).
Powers: Expert soldier, marksman, tracker, combatant, pilot, conman; accelerated healing (immunity to poison/disease/radiation, regeneration and reattachment of parts); psionic powers (telepathy, communication with the dead, prophetic visions of others' deaths).

Tozot:
Amalgamation of: Zealot + Topaz
Real Name: Queen Zannah
Biography: Zannah is the queen of an extradimensional land called Codor (Coda + Gwendor). The Codorian women have long dominated this land, enslaving the men of their species. She was left stranded on Earth by a random extradimensional energy flux, and she was believed to be a dangerous mentally-unhinged human by local authorities when she tried to murder several human men en masse. Mindscape intervened and convinced Zannah to join her and the Wildforce; Zannah hates working alongside men and taking orders from Rex Marlowe, but she believes that they can help her return to Codor. Using her expertise in Codorian tech, she recreated her weapons and took on the codename Tozot (a Codorian title given to the best warriors).
Powers: Superhuman speed/stamina/reflexes/agility; expert combatant; high intellect; use of dual energy-projecting swords and a staff that can transform her skin into organic, super-dense crystal;

Steelcore:
Amalgamation of: Hardcase + Spartan
Real Name: Tom Colt
Biography: The doctor who forced Mary Kitean to go on the run later acquired Kherumundian technology, allowing him to create new cyborgs with both  Kherumundian and Daemon tech. Tom Colt was a struggling actor until he was kidnapped by the doctor and made into a cyborg to serve him, but Tom escaped; his memories of his interactions with the doctor were remotely erased from his now-computerized brain. Tom Colt became a successful stuntman and action star, and later learned of his newfound superhuman abilities. Becoming Steelcore, he joined Squad One (The Squad + Team One), a superhero team comprised of Cloudburst (Starburst + Weatherman), Drill Sarge (DJ Blast + Regiment), and Forslash (Forsa + Backlash). Squad One was a nationally-celebrated hero team until all but Steelcore were killed in battle with the Daemon Person called Heltalon (Atalon + Helspont). Steelcore joined the Wildforce to help them destroy Heltalon.
Powers: Superhuman strength/stamina/durability/speed/agility/reflexes/senses; accelerated healing; energy manipulation; invisibility; flight.

Gigabyte:
Amalgamation of: Pixx + Void
Real Name: Adrianna Burka
Biography: A natural-born Gen-Ultra, Russian teenager and cosmonaut hopeful Adrianna Burka was a student of Rex Marlowe's academy for young metahumans. She was the first student of the school to be admitted to membership of the Wildforce. Gigabyte originally had technopathy as a power, but bonding with an alien relic gave her more abilities.
Powers: Technopathy, electrical disruption; illusion casting; intelligence; telekinesis; teleportation.

Primal:
Amalgamation of: Prime + Maul
Real Name: Jeremy Green
Biography: There was another doctor commencing illicit experiments in alien sciences, this time with DNA taken from a dead Kherumundian that was stranded on Earth. The doctor realized that his experiments were about to be exposed so he destroyed all the evidence and skipped town, leaving him unable to keep tabs on the infants he experimented on. As an adult in college, Jeremy Green eventually learned of his being experimented on, and with the shock of this came his ability to project “liquid flesh” from his torso to change form. In larger forms, Jeremy gains amazing strength and powers, though his intelligence lowers proportionate to his enlarged height. After perfecting an intelligence/strength ratio, Jeremy became the ultrahero Primal, a member of the Wildforce.
Powers: Projection of liquid flesh from torso to change into superhuman form (flesh dissolves after discarded). The smaller his superhuman form is, the smarter and more capable of flight and energy blasts he is; the bigger his superhuman form is, stronger and more capable of growing sharp spikes he is.

Protoblade:
Amalgamation of: Prototype + Warblade
Real Name: Reno Ruiz
Biography: Reno Ruiz was a struggling, homeless artist on the streets of New York, an orphan whose parents were killed by Daemon People. He was kidnapped by agents of Cyber-Tech (Ultra-Tech + Cyberdata) and made into a cyborg called Protoblade, subservient to the company. Reno eventually broke free from the subservience programming and took down Cyber-Tech. Found bleeding in an alley by Rex Marlowe, Protoblade got back on his feet and joined his ultrahero team, the Wildforce.
Powers: Energy generation; superhuman strength/stamina/durability/speed/agility/reflexes; nano-fluid limbs can shift into whatever weapon or tool he wills; hand-to-hand combat; inability to be detected with technology or normal human senses.

Mister Maxis:
Amalgamation of: Maxis + Mr. Majestic
Real Name: Daru Majestros
Biography: Daru Majestros is a lord of the planet Ozama, a planet of Kherumundi separate from their planet of origin. When the Tulkan attacked Ozama, Daru tried to lead his people off world, but the Tulkan caught up and annihilated the escaping caravan of spaceships. Daru wandered the universe for many many years until he came to Earth; posing as a human with a normal life, Daru became an ultrahero called Mister Maxis, who helped the Allied forces win WWII. Attacked and nearly killed by the Xwatch (Exiles + StormWatch), Mr. Maxis joined the Wildforce to counter them. Daru later revealed that he was once enslaved by the women of Codor, and he bore a child with Queen Zannah, who is now his teammate Tozot; their daughter is now, somehow, somewhere on Earth, under the human alias Kenesha Domino (aka the vigilante Pique [Savant + Night Man]).  
Powers: Immortality, high intelligence, psychic powers (such as telepathy, telekinesis, and power mimicry), minimal shapechanging.
