Amalgamation of: Magus + Cosmic King
Real Name: Adam Krinn
Aliases: Adam Cosmic (Adam Warlock + Cosmic Boy), “Laevar Warlock”
Biography: In a future that may or may not come to pass, a traumatic event in the life of young hero Adam Cosmic will drive him insane and amplify his magnetic powers a thousand times over. This new force, calling himself King Magus, will threaten the very existence of the universe. Using his powers, he reaches into the past and creates a cult that worships him called the Circle of Truth (Church of Truth + Dark Circle), which he uses to ensure that his transformation will happen. The weakened alien powerhouse Deathseid (Thanos + Darkseid) knows of King Magus and sent several agents to make sure that Adam Cosmic doesn’t become him. When Adam Cosmic learned what he was destined to become, he went into exile until he decided to fight against his fate. Rejoining the Legion of the Galaxy, he teamed up with Deathseid and the Annihilation Five (Annihilation Wave + Fatal Five) to fight against the Circle of Truth. The cosmic convergence that occurred because of the battle between Adam and Magus resulted in their powers uniting and soon being divided evenly between them. With King Magus at the weakest he’s ever been, Deathseid struck down the villain with the remained of his powers, the exertion of which killed him.
But, Deathseid’s sacrifice was for naught, as King Magus returned much later. Still weak and without his followers, he took the identity of Venusian alchemist Laevar Warlock to assemble a team of villains from across the universe. They call their new alliance the Legion of Pain!

Her beauty infatuated her new god, King Magus, and he amplified her natural powers to a great extent in exchange for bearing his child. Eve was five months pregnant when King Magus was seemingly killed by Deathseid and, due to the comic connection between the parents, she suffered a miscarriage. King Magus soon returned to Eve as they began to create the Legion of Pain; they cannot bear another child until Magus regains his powers. Eve took on the name Princess Planet and became a co-leader of the Legion of Pain. Though in love with King Magus, Eve was seduced by her teammate Lodestone Lord when he tried to usurp Magus’ leadership.

Thought to be a monster, Brin was attacked by the citizens of his home town, and he left the planet to search for his siblings. When he came to Earth, he was forced to fight Stakar, who joined the Legion of the Galaxy as the shock-blasting Lightning Hawk (Starhawk + Lightning Lad). After realizing who each other are, the stopped the battle and they went back to the Legion’s headquarters in the city of Neotropolis (formerly New Metropolis [New York City + Metropolis]).
Stakar and Aleta promised to help Brin recover his human form, with help from the Legion’s smartest member, Matriac 5 (Martinex + Brainiac 5). Staying at the Legion HQ, he began hearing the voice of King Magus in his mind, telling him that his brother and sister are jealous of his power and wish to take it for themselves. Composite Fractor would look great if it wasn't for the gorrilla arm, that just looks stupid.
