(The comic starts with a flashback to the fallout of the havoc that occurred at the Grand Galloping Gala, during the episode The Best Night Ever. However, the craziness is happening at the perimeter of this single panel, and at the center is Prince Blueblood, looking emotionally traumatized and soaked with cake. In the episode, he had treated his date, Rarity, and her friends very rudely the whole night, including shoving Rarity into the path of an airborne cake that would have hit him instead; Rarity told him off and heaped all that cake detritus on him in fit of rage. Being the pompous airhead he is, Blueblood clearly believes that she was in the wrong for this supposed affront to his royal self. A few days after the Gala fiasco, Blueblood is walking the streets of Canterlot with his bodyguards and servants, including his right-hoof Doorsmund [based on the Canterlot Castle bellhop from future episode Sweet and Elite], still fuming over Rarity.)
Blueblood: “Who does she think she is? That filly has tangled with the wrong stallion! Nopony says "no" to Prince Blueblood!”
Doorsmund: “Darn right!”
Blueblood: “Dismissed! Rejected! Publicly humiliated! Why, she must have something rotten inside her.”
Doorsmund: “More cider?”
Blueblood: “What for? Nothing helps. I'm disgraced.”
Doorsmund: “Who, you? Never! Your Majesty, you've got to pull yourself together.”
(Music begins)

Gosh, it disturbs me to see you, Blueblood,
Looking so down in the dumps.
Ev'ry colt here'd love to be you, Blueblood,
Even when taking your lumps.

For this (hypothetical) comic, I wanted one with Prince Blueblood. The song I originally wanted for Blueblood was "Perfect World" from The Emperor's New Groove [link] , with Prince Blueblood in the role of Emperor Kusco, but it wouldn't have worked, lyric-wise, since Kusco is the supreme ruler of his kingdom and Blueblood's aunts Celestia and Luna are the supreme rulers of theirs. The runner-up was "Prince Ali" from "Aladdin" [link] , and the comic would have been about the Royal Family of Equestria visiting the sovereign nation of Saddle Arabia (during the events of "Magic Duel") and Blueblood making a grandious entrance; various reasons concluded that this song wouldn't work either.
Then
suggested the song "Gaston" from Beauty and the Beast [link] , and I ate that up since both characters are self-important muscleheads. fter deciding on the OST version [link] , I also had to come up with a right-hoof for Blueblood, to play the role of Gaston's henchman La Fou. I remembered there was a bell hop from the castle in the episode "Sweet and Elite" and gave him the name "Doorsmund".
