Description

The Outer-Warriors (The New Warriors + The Outsiders):

Top Row, Left to Right:
Haley, Lightning Strike, Psytana, Micromorph, and Tech-Knight.
Bottom, Left to Right:
Sand-Force, Glimpse, Fierce, OMEC, Turbulence, and Cyansphere.

Lucius Fujikawa (Kenjiro Fujikawa + Lucius Fox), a business partner of Tony Wayne, who is really the superhero Iron Bat (Iron Man + Batman), is kidnapped by government agents of Symkovia (Symkaria + Markovia), under orders of the country’s dictator, Bedlam Monger (Hate-Monger + Baron Bedlam). Iron Bat had the evidence that implicated Symkovia in this crime, but his teammates in the Justice Avengers (Avengers + Justice League) had no legal standing to invade a country and refused to go along.
So then, Iron Bat decided to form a new group of heroes, completely unassociated with the JA, to complete this mission. The heroes he chose were Lightning Strike, Psytana, Micromorph, Tech-Knight, and Haley. These heroes rescued Lucius from Bedlam Monger and destroyed the weapon he forced Lucius to build: a satellite that projects mind-altering “hate rays.” When confronted by government officials, the Justice Avengers denied all accusations of their involvement in the raid of a foreign nation.
These assembled heroes call themselves the “Outer-Warriors” and continue to fight evil as the Justice Avengers’ “denied-ops” division.

Lightning Strike:

Jeff fell off the structure and broke his spine on the landing, and Thunder Woman rushed him to the hospital. The hospital Jeff stayed at was under scrutiny by a malicious and powerful gangster known as Tobias Slug (Slug + Tobias Whale), who threatened the Chief of Medicine by threatening to kill one of the patients. Fortunately, one of the doctors on call that evening was Diana Blake, who was secretly Thorana, the Thunder Woman. Thunder Woman battled the gangster and his goons until he caught her off-guard with a punch, causing hero to drop her Enchanted Flail (Mjolnir + Lasso of Truth). Jeff seized the Flail and absorbed Thunder Woman’s form into his body, becoming a powerful warrior. Using his new powers and regained mobility, “Thunder Man” battled Tobias Slug’s control over downtown New Metropolis, teaming up with Doctor Dare (Daredevil + Dr. Mid-Nite), champion of the Suicide Kitchen (Hell’s Kitchen + Suicide Slum). Eventually, Jeff took the Flail back to Thunder Woman’s home of Themsgard (Asgard + Themyscira), home of the immortal Amazardians (Asgardians + Amazonians. Thorana’s father, King Hippodin (Odin + Hippolyta), took back the Flail and his daughter’s essence, recreating her body. For protecting his daughter’s spirit, Hippodin issued his smiths to forge a new weapon for Jeff, made from the same metals and magicks as the Flail. Cyansphere:
Amalgamation of: Speedball + Indigo
Real Name: Indy Baldwin
Biography: Indy Baldwin was a young intern for a government laboratory when she was bombarded by an unknown energy in a lab accident. This activates her latent metagene, which was corrupted by the energies, turning her into a hideous and powerful techno-organic being. Indy went on a mindless rampage until she was “deactivated” by the Outer-Warriors. RoxTAR Inc. (Roxxon + STAR Labs) manages to fix Indy’s deformed appearance while retaining her powers, and she joins the Outer-Warriors as “Cyansphere”, named for her ability to generate blue force fields. Things were working out great for Indy until the battle between the combined forces of the Outer-Warriors and the Thunder Squad against Ictro (Nitro + Icicle). The reverse-fusion explosion “rebooted” Cyansphere, resurrecting her original mutated appearance. It was revealed that she wasn’t a metamutant, but that her powers derived from a nanotech virus deposited on Earth by Galactiac (Galactus + Brainiac). The Outer-Warriors battled this new creature, which fused herself with the only 7 others on Earth affected by the nano-virus. The Outer-Warriors managed to destroy the creature, but her remains were confiscated by Task Force S. When Paul Osborn (Norman Osborn + Paul Westfield) became director of the Thunder Squad, he rebuilt Indy’s body while keeping her mind alive inside a computer system. She was completely penitent over her actions, and she served as “Penetrate” (Penance + Brainiac 8) in the Thunder Squad.
Powers: Cyansphere had the ability to generate frictionless, elastic spheres of blue energy around herself and parts of her body. She could travel at high speeds by bouncing around in a sphere and she could expand them to protect herself and others.

I think Force Works would be a better fit for the Outsiders because the team was formed by Iron Man and the Outsiders was formed by Batman. As for the New Warriors, maybe the Titans.
